Melville Marginalia @thelibrary

Now on display in the library's first floor (next to Starbucks), a peek at literary research into the writings of Herman Melville using Albertsons Library resources and the Melville Marginalia website. The website is administered by Boise State professor Steven Olsen-Smith.

We teamed up with Dr. Olsen-Smith to create a display looking at the erased notes written in the margins of a book from Melville’s personal library that sheds light into his thinking as he was writing Moby Dick.
