The library has added the following resources to its growing list of research databases:

AnthroSource

The premier online resource serving the research, teaching, and professional needs of anthropologists. Developed by the American Anthropological Association (AAA), AnthroSource brings 100 years of anthropological material online to scholars and the public, including:

Current issues for 15 of the AAA's most critical peer-reviewed publications through the end of 2006, including American Anthropologist, American Ethnologist, Anthropology and Education Quarterly, and Medical Anthropology Quarterly.



The Deluxe BVUpdate
A database of all issues and articles (including expanded and bonus articles) of the Business Valuation Update newsletter since its inception in October 1995, plus all issues and articles of Judges & Lawyers Business Valuation Update newsletter published from January 1999 through December 2001. The database is fully searchable by author, or individual newsletter section. The legal and court case updates are also searchable by state or jurisdiction, type of case, judge, citation, and date of decision.




Essay and General Literature, A change of interface from OVID to Wilson Web.

Offers precise access to nearly 65,000 essays contained in some 5,300 anthologies and collections-a wealth of information that might be otherwise hidden away in your library. Some 300 single and multi-author collections are indexed annually, plus more than 20 selected annuals and serials. Coverage spans the entire range of the humanities and social sciences, with subject coverage ranging from economics, political science, and history to criticism of literary works, art history, drama, and film.




Children's Literature Comprehensive Database is an acquisition, research, and reference service that offers more than 1,400,000 MARC records and more than 280,000 reviews of children's books--all full text searchable from 36 review sources.

Also available are hotlinks for more than 470,000 awards, prizes, best book list and reading list entries. This information is updated and augmented on a regular basis. The database also provides access to over 43,000 book jacket images as well as information provided by various Reading Measurement Programs such as Accelerated Reader, Degrees of Reading Power, Lexile and Reading Counts.

Another useful feature is the more than 160,000 links to web pages featuring individual authors or illustrators. You will be able to search for an author or illustrator and qualify your search to only retrieve those that have web pages.
