Children's Literature Comprehensive Database is an acquisition, research, and reference service that offers more than 1,400,000 MARC records and more than 280,000 reviews of children's books--all full text searchable from 36 review sources.Also available are hotlinks for more than 470,000 awards, prizes, best book list and reading list entries. This information is updated and augmented on a regular basis. The database also provides access to over 43,000 book jacket images as well as information provided by various Reading Measurement Programs such as Accelerated Reader, Degrees of Reading Power, Lexile and Reading Counts.
Another useful feature is the more than 160,000 links to web pages featuring individual authors or illustrators. You will be able to search for an author or illustrator and qualify your search to only retrieve those that have web pages.
