Maps for Hiking @thelibrary

Do you need a detailed map for a hiking trip? The library has hundreds of recent and historic maps for all 50 states, including Idaho. These range from USGS topographic maps (1:24,000-scale) to commercially-produced maps of state parks and hiking areas.

Maps are located on the first floor of the library. All cartographic materials can be photocopied or checked out for two weeks. For more information about the Library's map collection, go to: http://library.boisestate.edu/Maps/ .

Egyptian art from Arielle Kozloff Brodkey’s personal archive
The Arielle Kozloff Brodkey archive consists of over 2,400 images focused on the art, architecture and archaeology of ancient Egypt.

Additional images of contemporary art from the Larry Qualls Archive
Larry Qualls has been systematically documenting contemporary art exhibitions at galleries and other exhibition spaces throughout New York City and elsewhere. We are pleased to announce that we have just released an additional 5,000 images from the Larry Qualls Archive, bringing the total number available to ARTstor users to approximately 11,500.

Additional images of contemporary architecture from ART on FILE
ARTstor recently added over 300 images to the ART on FILE collection, bringing the total collection to over 900 images. This most recent addition focuses on contemporary architecture of Los Angeles and Chicago.

More European Art and Architecture from Scala Archives and Art Resource
We are pleased to announce the release of additional images of major Italian and other European works from Scala Archives, bringing the total number of Scala images now available to ARTstor users to approximately 4,700.

We have a score of new databases and enhancements for your research pleasure:


R2 library

R2 is a web-based application that aggregates health sciences book content from leading publishers in a single platform, with full text access to
116 medical, nursing, and allied health ebooks. Search results for both index and full text can be sorted by publisher, Book Title, Chapter Title, Author, Publisher, or ISBN.



International Index to Music Periodicals


Full Text music journal resource with more than half a million indexed articles, plus detailed abstracts and full text from 1874 to the present, covering the scholarly to the popular. IIMP Full Text is updated with new content every month.

IIMP Full Text now includes 436 indexed titles and 118 full-text titles, with a total of over 634,000 records and almost 238,000 full-text articles.




Classical Scores Library

Classical Scores Library will contain 400,000 pages of the most important classical scores and manuscripts, allowing for the study and analysis of more than 8,000 scores from both in-copyright and public domain editions, but less pages are available currently.

The collection includes works spanning time periods from the Renaissance to the 21st century. Coverage of score types is comprehensive, with full scores, study scores, piano and vocal scores, and piano reductions.

Industry Surveys, Stock Reports, Bond Reports, Company Profiles, and Register of Corporations, Directors and Executives.



Historical Los Angeles Times Newspaper

Major daily newspaper from Los Angeles. With the nation's largest editorial department, it offers extensive online full text coverage of national, international, and local news. Coverage: 1881- 1985
